Tutoring Services
Families often tell me they feel at ease working with me, because I combine experience with genuine warmth and care. With over a decade spent in classrooms (16 years and counting!) I’ve learned that every child is unique, which is why I take the time to truly understand who they are so I can create personalised learning that helps them thrive.
I believe strong relationships are built on trust, which is why I’m always transparent about pricing and expectations from the very beginning. I have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs, focusing not only on academic progress but also on confidence, independence, and a sense of pride in their achievements.
My goal is simple: to help each child feel supported, capable, and excited about learning.

I offer tutoring on a 1:1 basis for those currently in school, those who are home educated and those who are between settings. Group (sibling) sessions can be requested via the contact page.

Enrolled in school
I provide targeted, supportive intervention for children who are in school and need help catching up or rebuilding confidence in their learning.
Using my classroom experience, I can identify gaps, misconceptions, or barriers and build sessions to meet each child’s specific needs.
Support is focused, encouraging, and closely aligned with what’s happening in school, helping children make meaningful progress without feeling overwhelmed.
Alongside academic catch-up, I place strong emphasis on confidence and self-belief, so children not only improve their skills but also feel more capable and ready to succeed back in the classroom.

Home educated
I support home-educated children by providing flexible, personalised learning that fits around each family’s values and each child’s interests, strengths, and pace.
I help bring structure where it’s needed and freedom where it’s appropriate, keeping learning engaging, meaningful, and stress-free.
Whether a child thrives with creative projects, practical learning, or a more academic focus, I adapt my approach to suit them, building both skills and confidence.
My aim is to support families by enriching their home education journey and helping children develop a genuine love of learning, not just meet expectations.

Between settings & school refusers
I offer calm, consistent support for children who are struggling to attend school or who are between settings and awaiting a new placement.
During what can feel like an uncertain and overwhelming time, I provide a safe, pressure-free learning environment that helps children rebuild confidence, routine, and a positive connection with learning.
I carefully tailor support to each child’s emotional and academic needs, meeting them where they are and helping them move forward at their own pace.
My focus is on keeping learning meaningful, maintaining progress, and supporting a smooth, confident transition back into education when the time is right.
